Waste Oil to Diesel Plant

Mineral waste lubricating oil sources, particularly engine oils have attracted much attention as an alternative energy source. It is renewable, available everywhere and proved to be cleaner fuel and more environment friendly than fossil sources. The lubricating oils can be recycled as lubricating oil, and re-used as fuel or made into diesel-like fuel. Production of diesel-like fuel from waste oils such as industrial and engine waste oils, wood pyrolysis oils, fresh and waste fats and vegetable oils is an excellent way for producing alternative fuel sources. Industrial and engine waste oils , wood pyrolysis oils, fresh and waste fats and vegetable oils have been proposed as pyrolysis raw material to produce gasoline and diesel-like fuels. 

Application

PPGT-LP Waste Oil Distillation Plant is designed to crack the long chain hydrocarbons of waste motor oil into valueable diesel fuel and some byproducts such as light gas oil, light hydrocarbons, water and asphaltene sludge. With PurePath exclusive fractionating and ultrasonic desulfuring technologies, the diesel which is produced by our distillation plant is able to meet Euro-V related standards

PPGT-LP Waste Oil Distillation Plant is able to convent different types waste oil feedstock into diesel fuel and other valuable byproducts, such as waste motor oil, waste gear oil, waste crackcase oil, waste hydraulic oil, tire/plastic pyrolysis oil, slop oil etc.. PPGT-LP series help relieving energy crisis as well as creating profits with a reasonable operation cost.

  1. Products and by-products

    The main product is about 85%~90% oil yield of commercial standard diesel. The byproduct are usually comprised of LGO, water, oil sludge/residue. LGO is aalable as fuel oil for burner providing to cement factory, glass factory, ceramic factory, electric power factory, steel making factory, boiler factory, etc. Sludge can be used to asphalt production.

  2. What's the production schedule of an order?

    The production will be started with a project kick off meeting; and then designing process for P&ID, process simulation, equipment selection, sizing and heat exchang calculation; and followed by manufacturing and equipment testment; then whole plant assembly for testing and then disassembling for shipping. 

  3. Waste management and how to dispose them?

    The waste are usually composed by gas, water, oil sludge/residue. 

    The gas will be purified for emission or recycled as heating fuel; 

    The water can be filtered and purified as cooling water; 

    The oil sludge can be used for burning or as material for making asphalt or road constructions.

  4. What is the quality of diesel to be produced by your machine?

    The diesel to be produced by our distillation plant can meet the standards of API standards commercial diesel which can be used in the diesel engines directly. Please contact us for test report.
